TOOLS TO SUPPORT YOUR ORGANISATION

“How to use website NDG.CA to promote your organization and your activities in NDG community”
This part of our strategies and actions is about helping non-profit organizations, community groups (tables, committees, coalitions) and other institutions, exchanging and sharing information between local stakeholders, and to provide partners with ability to share their information and resources. Our goal: to create a useful, functional online community space for residents, groups and official organizations

"What's happening in NDG!"
The newsletter is an initiative based on recommendations at a Round Table Meeting. The letter started informally in December 2005, and was sent out occasionally as needed. Since then, it has developed into a weekly newsletter with about 50 issues per year. We send it every Websday.

The NDG Community Council e-letter “What’s happening in NDG” is a tool for community organizations to reach out to the community-at-large.Currently, the e-letter reaches more than 1 500 NDGers and those who work or serve in NDG: NDG Council members (individuals and organizations), community organizations, schools, institutes, political representatives, funders and government representatives, media (French and English), and numerous individuals.

Submissions for the Newsletter We strongly encourage organizations to share the e-letter with their members. However, due to rising demand and an increase in the information to include, putting out the e-letter is becoming a challenge. We are counting on organizations to help us continue this work!

Feedback The feedback we have received from people encourages us to continue this work while always exploring ways to improve the e-letter. If you want to give us your comments, please send us an e-mail at ndgcc@ndg.ca or call (514) 484-1741.
