Each staff member juggled several dossiers and continues to support and create new initiatives.

Executive Director
Halah started working with the Council as a community organizer in 2005, she became the Director of the Council in 2010, leading the organization with a very competitive and dedicated team of Board and Staff and in collaboration with a strong and a multilevel network of organizations, active residents and involved partners.

Julie Cormier works at the NDG Community Council as a community worker since May 2017. She is in charge of the Tax Clinics as well as the information and referral kiosks and the outreach with the residents of Benny Farm. She also does administrative and financial tasks in the office.
Julie graduated College in Arts in 2002 and in Social Science in 2005. After a break to take care of her family, she went back to school and is currently finishing her bachelor degree in administration.

Community Worker
Volunteering
Emily Villeneuve is a community worker for the NDG Community council where she mobilizes residents of the Westhaven and Saint-Raymond Sectors of NDG. She is also the Volunteer coordinator managing the second language conversation groups & the Bénévolat NDG Volunteer Facebook page.
Emily started out as an intern for the council providing the tenants information service during her studies in Social Services at Dawson College. She was hired in the spring of 2017, where she started knocking on residents doors, promoting activities and services in the neighborhood. By the fall, the Resident Community Dinners started where all are welcome to join in to share a meal and meet their neighbors!

-Lunar New Year
Jing Bai works in NDG community council as a community worker since 2016. She outreached and mobilized Chinese community and the Korean community with heartfelt passion. She enjoys working in a non-profit organization and is good at organizing the events to help people be involved in the community.
She is responsible for:
• Lunar New Year (2016,2017,2018,2019)
• Chinese seniors’ outreach
• Chinese and Korean local business outreach
• Cultural event
• Asian community outreach

Administrative Assistant
Reyhaneh Khoushbin works at the NDG Community Council as an Administrative Assistant since 2019 and she is working in the Tax Clinic. She has bachelor degree in Accounting. After immigration, she continued his education in accounting at Dawson College. She enjoys working in a non-profit organization.

Community organizer
- Coordinating the space coalition
Youssef works at NDG Community Council as community organizer since march 2020. He is in charge of coordinating Westhaven neighbourhood committee a coalition of local partners as well as Saint Raymond committee. He is also chairing the space coalition whose mandate is to respond to space needs in neighbourhood.
