NDG en histoires participated in the NDG Green Fair 2023 by growing and giving away over 150 Montreal melon seedlings to attendees, educating residents about NDG's rich agricultural history!

In May 2023, NDG en histoires organised its first Jane's Walk. The guided walking tour led participants through "old NDG," revealing three hundred years of fascinating history about NDG's origins. The walk was led by Norman Spatz, Chris Lyons, and Jeffery Kastner.

In August 2022, NDG en histoires organised its first event, a historical walking tour, as part of NDG Arts Week. The inaugural tour explored the history of the Empress theatre, Old Orchard Avenue, and the area surrounding NDG Park. This tour was led by Chris Lyons and Nathalie Sénécal.

The Fight for Benny Farm – the birth, near death, and renaissance of a pioneering housing project. The housing shortage in Montreal was severe after the Second World War. In response, citizen pressure forced the Canadian government to develop Benny Farm, an “ultra modern” housing project solution! The close-knit community of war veterans and their families that emerged grew so much during the Baby Boom that people called it “Bunny Farm.” When changes were needed in the 1990s, community pressure resulted in the redevelopment of Benny Farm as a new kind of housing solution.
